Raindrops and Me
Raindrops gravitate downward with a wonderful contribution in mind. They kiss the cheek of a child, while cleaning the air on its journey. Some drops make their last home on a dirty patio chair, dried up potted plant or windshield layered in dust.
We as livings souls gravitate towards loved ones with a hope to make a lasting connection. As we breath in the fresh fallen rain and crave to feel the touch of a raindrop. It stirs the reality we are humans who desire to feel a personal intimacy from a warm embrace. To connect our hearts through a glowing smile, while saying the words I love you.
Encompassed inside our souls is compassion, forgiveness, and a deep desire to share.
Our last touch, image, and comforting words from a loved one are forever in bedded deep in our memory and souls forever.
The memory of the first fallen snow, first heavy rainstorm, leave lasting impression just like the first kiss from our teenage crush.
Raindrops come from heaven, made from the hands of God...and so were you and me.
